Getting There and Parking
Location: The Golf Summit is being held in THE GOLDFIELDS EVENT SPACE located within Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC – 5 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf VIC 3006 (Door 18), nestled in the heart of Melbourne along the bustling South Wharf precinct. We recommend to enter via the DFO/South Wharf main entry (doors near the Novotel).
By Car: See below for parking from $12 at South Wharf Retail carpark or the Melbourne Exhibition Centre carpark (both operated by Wilson parking and open 24/7).
South Wharf Retail Carpark;
2 minute walk; Enter/Exit: Munro Street or Convention Centre Place; Clearance Height: 2.1 metres
MCEC Carpark;
7 minute walk; Enter/Exit: Normanby Road; Clearance Height: 2.2 metres
By taxi or ride share: Taxi and Ride Share drop off ranks are located outside our front entrance.
By Tram: Trams 12, 96 and 109 run every 6-12 minutes and stop outside MCEC on Clarendon Street (9 minute walk). Trams 70, 35 and 75 run along Flinders Street stopping on the north side of the Yarra River near the pedestrian bridge to MCEC.
By Train: Southern Cross Station on Spencer Street is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from THE GOLDFIELDS EVENT SPACE, and services most of Melbourne’s rail lines.
By Bike: Various bike parking facilities are available at MCEC. There are bike hoops located along Convention Centre Place outside Wilson Parking South Wharf and another on Orrs Walk, opposite Polly Woodside.
